Children aged from 24 months to 42 months old
As every parent knows, a two year old has very clear ideas of what they do and don't want to do. Every opportunity will be given for your children to make their own decisions and choices that will help to develop their own personality. At this stage the children will be encouraged to share and to interact with each other as well as with adults. The children will participate in activities that will continue to support their communication and physical skills and also their social and emotional development.
At the age of 2 we begin to introduce potty training, working alongside and following discussion with you. Once the training begins all parents and other carers should be fully committed to the idea and should expect lots of 'accidents' at first. We therefore ask for lots of changes of clothing initially.
This room prepares the children for pre-school with the introduction of early Maths and Literacy skills.
