What People Say About Lilliputs

"My Husband and I are extremely happy with Lilliputs Nursery. When you first take your child to nursery it is obviously quite daunting and you want them to be happy and well looked after. Lilliputs made this process a lot easier, they have good systems for introducing your child to the nursery and making them feel settled. Our daughter really looks forward to going to nursery and this makes mummy and daddy a lot happier! We have also been impressed with the well planned and thought out activities for the children – lots of these documented with pictures in her online account. We have also been impressed with the staff at Lilliputs- they all seem to enjoy their jobs which creates a really nice atmosphere. In particular for our daughter – Naomi and her team are great! we always gets a very warm welcome when we arrives in the morning. We also feel very confident that Gill and Louise manage the nursery so well and also find time to spend with the children."

Mrs Fox

"Love, love, love this nursery. It is constantly adapting all the equipment/facilities so that the children have the best resources possible. The facilities are fantastic from inside to outside. I love to see that my child has been outside even in wet weather, she is dressed in waterproofs and having fun in the mud kitchen!

The staff are absolutely phenomenal, so so good at their jobs. From management to the apprentices, they all really acknowledge each child and continue to have an interest in the children as they grow up and leave. My oldest 2 children love to come and pick their little sister up so that they can see the staff.

The communication with the nursery is brilliant. They are always on the other end of the phone and parent zone lets me keep up to date with my child’s activities throughout the day. The observations are very detailed and accurate – I can see how the planning behind the activities help my child to progress. It is also evident to see how well trained the staff are to deal with the spontaneous actions of my little girl and encourage her to develop through the love of play!

The only problem I have is that my daughter keeps moving our chairs around to be behind each other and then wants to sing ‘wheels on the bus’ all the time!! But I absolutely love this too!!

If I had more children, I would without a doubt send them here. I had no problem recommending it to my brother and now my niece attends."

Mrs Driver

"My little boy has been attending Lilliputs since he was 8 months (he’s now almost two) and I can honestly say it has been the most positive and warming experience for both him and us as parents. Leaving your child at nursery is one of the hardest decisions a parent has to make, but from day one, our son has settled and felt safe.

Nursery supply an endless supply of activities, messy play, outdoor play and small world opportunities – There are lots of opportunities for parental involvememt such as the pike hike, summer fair, parents eventing and nursery even made teas and coffees for parents one morning which was absolutely lovely and makes a big difference.

Max has come on leaps and bounds at nursery and I am very happy that we chose Lilliputs as the place our son will spend his pre-school years growing and learning."

Mrs Partington

"Lilliputs is an Outstanding nursery. When we leave our daughter each morning, we know that she is going to be in safe hands, well cared for and have a happy and exciting day. Every member of staff that she encounters within Lilliputs have been fantastic. They are always friendly and approachable and strive to make our daughter feel cared for and at ease. I feel that the nursery routine has structure so that our daughter knows what is happening and when. Communication is super between emails, notices within nursery and parentzone. We enjoy looking at the photos published on parentzone to give an insight to the activities completed each day. We love the extra opportunities that nursery provides for example forest school, visiting nursing homes and going out into the community to enrich the learning experience further."
